Italian artist Counrad has announced his new imprint Counrad Series with its debut release titled Le Regole Dell’Attrazione. This three-track EP seamlessly fuses organic textures with concrete beats for a unique experience.

The series is a welcomed addition to Counrad’s foray into label handling, with Inwave Imprint being his main avenue. Looking back, Inwave’s recent addition by Michele Vitagliano titled Olof EP was one cut I won’t forget that surely hit all the right spots.

Counrad Series will be a vinyl-only imprint that will release music solely from Counrad with promises to be “Spontaneous, organic, irregular, without limitations”. Le Regole Dell’Attrazione  is no exception to this mission, mixing the essence of old age violin work with jack-heavy micro house in the A side titled The Lonely Hunter. The B side shoots into two menacing and equally dynamic rhythms, Sunrise Avenue and Half Words. With the former teaming with acid bass goodness and the latter exploring a more adventurous, mysterious dancefloor vibe.

I’m excited to see where this label goes in the electronic realm of experimentation and club-centric sound. The EP is set to release on September 2 through the new imprint.
