Coming in on Analogue Attic Recordings, UDMO aka Daniel Oliverius will be releasing Open Water as the Australian label’s sixth installment. This comes just one month after releasing Live at the Fairfield Amphitheatre by Australian duo Sleep D.
Analogue Attic is a Melbourne-based label that started back in 2014 by Alex Albrecht and Sean La’Brooy. Since its beginnings, the label has expressed itself as a medium that is used in “showcasing the gentle side of electronic music down under.” Analogue Attic has featured many talented artists that ring true to the label’s musical vision: Rings Around Saturn, TUC, Sleep D, and both label bosses as duo Albrecht La’Brooy.
The Melbourne artist UDMO makes his AAR debut with an ambient and subtly hypnotic four-track release that plays with echoes of atmospheric pads, organic textures, and dreamy arps. Each track sways uniquely and variably to the tune of euphoric house aside from Isolation Theory, which is an ambient cut that makes you feel as if you are in a submarine exploring the deep, dark ocean waters.
Open Water is set to release in July on vinyl and digital, and you can preorder the 12″ here.
