Mattia Trani is set to release his debut LP, The Hi-Tech Mission, as the 15th installment for Pushmaster Discs. This will also be the first full-length album on the Italian label.
Since 2012, Pushmaster Discs has been originated and curated by label boss Mattia Trani to present cutting-edge music that is influenced by Detroit-style techno soul. The Bologna-based label has featured exceptional artists such as Claude Young, Ilario Alicante, Percyl, Myles Sergé, Grienkho, Orlando Voorn, the legendary DJ Hyperactive, and many others.
Trani has been regarded as a serious force in techno. Having had tracks remixed by Juan Atkins and DJ Stingray while also having been featured on Underground Resistance – Radio UR, he shares his vision of underground dance music by creating stories through hardware, software, and creativity. The album builds on that creativity to cover raw, analog techno, soul, jungle, electro funk, and everything in between.
The Hi-Tech Mission is set to release on double vinyl and CD on May 13 and digital on June 3. You can catch Mattia Trani playing at Rush Club in Torino on April 15 , at Stargate in Rovigo on April 16, at All Star Festival in Ferrara on April 22, and at Cocoricò in Riccione on April 24.
