After releasing  André Lodemann’s Going To The Core Remixes in January, Best Works Records will debut Drift EP  by Georgian producer/DJ Gacha Bakradze on April 15.

Best Works, a Berlin-based agency and label collective, has had many other talented artists on their roster, including label-cohead André Lodemann, Fabian Dikof, Dave DK, Jimpster, Felix Fischer, live act Studnitzky, and Charles Webster, among others.

Bakradze’s four-track EP comes right after releasing his Restless LP on Space Hardware last week, the first full-length album on the label. Drift EP exhibits Bakradze’s touch of melody and refined texture to combine hypnotic soundscapes with warm synths in bringing on an emotional, sonic euphoria. The Norman Nodge remix adds punchy flare to Drift while maintaining the initial flow of the original.

Bakradze’s musical reach has become ever-expanding, exploring every avenue of a genre and sound.

Having released material under the Gacha, Bakradze, Akwaaba, and Winter Flags aliases, he has been featured through many other versatile, forward-sounding labels, such as Apollo, Transfigured Time, Teal Recordings, The Crescent, 2nd Drop Records, Lapsus Records, and Delsin.

You can catch Bakradze playing at Mtkvarze in Tbilisi for a Transfigured Time party on April 15 and live at the Georgian festival 4GB on May 7.
